The Manager

Most of you who have been following Inner Peace Be Upon You for some time

know I have my own tax practice on the side. When I first decided

to start My Personal Tax CPA, LLC I had no idea what to expect. I

certainly had goals, but I didn’t know where it would take me.

My first year was interesting. I didn’t make much in terms of profits,

but looking back, I realized that I had just enough steady flow of

new clients to get me started. It was enough to give me a taste

of what running My Personal Tax CPA, LLC would be like, but

it was not to the point that it overwhelmed me.

When the first year was done, I felt like this was something I

wanted to continue.

During my second year, I started to gain more of a following.

It was concerning because I was starting to develop a cyclical

nature for the business, yet there was no defined pattern. The

number of clients would fluctuate. It was concerning because

in the back of my mind I’d always ask myself if running this

business would be fruitful for the effort I was putting into it. Yet,

I just couldn’t figure out the pattern. Regardless, the second year

was another good year of steady growth.

As I look back at the past few years, I’ve realized something.

Although I have felt that I couldn’t decipher a pattern, there

always has been one. Whenever the timing has been right, either

a new client or a returning client has come back. They didn’t

all come back at once because that would be overwhelming. There

were periods where I was not busy. Looking back, however, I realized

it was because other aspects of my life was keeping me busy.

After doing this for a few years now, I realize that the hand of God

has always been behind my practice. When I needed clients to

come in, I would have clients be there one way or another. When

things were getting too hectic, the flow of clients would stop regardless

of my efforts in marketing.

I realized that God was the manager for not only My Personal Tax CPA, LLC

but also for my life. Doubts would always come into my mind, but would

soon be refuted within due time, whatever that timing was, by God’s

invisible hand at work.

In your own lives, if you pay attention to the timing of things, you will

soon realize that you yourself have a Manager that you didn’t even know

about. Often the actions of the Manager will not make sense at first,

but if you remember that the purpose of the Manager is to keep your

life manageable, you can be rest assured that life is working in your favor.
