Be successful like others

One of my own personal philosophies in life has

always been, “If someone else is capable of doing

X, then I should be capable of doing X.”

It’s not that I want to compete with others. In fact,

as I have grown older, I have realized it is much

easier to compete with others, and much harder

to compete with yourself.

The reason, however, that I feel if someone is

capable of doing something, that I should be able

to is simply because God has given me the

same will as others. It is left up to me to make that

will indomitable through perseverance.

I may not get it right the first time, but if I try

and try again, I am destined to be able to

accomplish that feat.

The next time you see something someone

else is capable of doing, don’t tell yourself,

“I can’t do this because this person has X,Y,Z.”

No.

Tell yourself, “If someone else is capable of doing

X, then I should be capable of doing X.”
