Acceptance

So often, and more often, we constantly seek

acceptance and approval from others.

From the moment we are born, we are seeking

acceptance from our parents, then teachers,

friends, and soon enough from bosses,

spouses, and our children.

We often do so much to get that ounce of

approval that perhaps we are doing something right.

Perhaps they are noticing our worth, and

we strive harder and harder to make them

happy to get further approval.

Soon enough we want to get acceptance and

approval from everyone.

Here is the truth: not everyone is going to like you.

Not everyone is going to give you approval.

Not everyone is going to notice your hard work.

Think about your own personal life.

There have been people you just, for one reason

or another, have not cared for, recognized, accepted or

given approval for something they have done.

So what do you do?

You have to stop and ask yourself, “What am I doing

to seek approval from God and to make God happy?”

Ultimately, that is what truly matters.

Now, you see with me writing this, I know I won’t be

getting approval from those subscribers who don’t believe

in God. I could write it in a manner that strays away

from the notion and concept of a deity. However, I would

rather put forth the notion and remembrance of God rather

than not so I can seek approval from all of my subscribers and readers.

We are human. We won’t like, accept, and/or approve of everything or

everyone. Just like everything or everyone won’t like, accept,

or approve of us.

Seek out acceptance and approval from God over anyone else.
