Distractions
======================
Quick distractions are so abundant. It's easy
to start something,get interrupted, try to find
where you left off, get back on it, then get
interrupted again.
Sometimes we may feel like we are multi-tasking
our activities, however, it may be that our
activities are multi-tasking us.
Within a 5 minute time span you may be:
1. Working on a project.
2. Checking facebook.
3. Checking e-mail.
4. Checking the news.
5. Twittering.
6. Working on a project.
7. Checking facebook...
Is anything really getting done? Next thing you know,
you are stressed from the lack of
work you have done.
Try this.
Try setting a timer on your phone or somewhere else
for 15 minutes and work with complete focus
during those 10 minutes.
Sounds easy but it's hard.
You get the urge to check your email, Twitter,
that site, Facebook...just 2 minutes in.
Give yourself 15 minutes of undivided attention.
You will be amazed at how much you can get in 15
pure uninterrupted minutes compared to an hour's
worth of go, interrupt, find out where you left off.
