Inner Peace Be Upon You
# 0053 Peace and Blessings Every Day

Anxiety during the night.
======================
There have been numerous nights when I couldn't
sleep. I had a lot of things on my mind.
The worries of the day that just passed. The events for
tomorrow. The happenings for the rest of the week.
We fall asleep to these worries and thoughts,
and when we wake up, we feel like we did not
sleep for more than a few minutes.
Does this sound familiar?
Here is something that I have tried, which
will work if you really put your mind to it and
actually do it. It may sound silly, but it has helped
me sleep sound.
Say this to yourself in a loud voice so your
subconscious understands the command you are
giving:
"Right now it is time for my mind, body, and soul
to rest. Whatever problems and worries I may have had
today can be solved tomorrow. Whatever problems
and worries I may have tomorrow will come and pass as
it should tomorrow. Right now I am going to celebrate
my mind, body, and soul with peaceful rest!"
After this take a few deep breaths in and exhale slowly so
the only thing you are focusing on are your breaths. Keep
doing this until the oxygen going through your body relaxes
your mind.
It may sound foolish, but what's the worst that can happen
if you try it?
What's the best that can happen?
Have a peaceful rest tonight.
