# 0033 Peace and Blessings Every Day

That special someone.

I have a friend who told me the other day that she wanted to get married. So I asked

her what type of guy she was looking for. She told me what it would seem to us guys

as the bare necessities for being deemed marriage material: smart, funny, good looking,

educated, and so on. 

I asked my friend if she could envision the guy that she wanted. She said, "Yes Ramin, I can 

envision him." To this I said, "Great. Now every night pray for this type of guy and envision him. 

Then be patient and go about your life. God will provide."

At that moment I had an Inner Peace and Blessings moments.

It dawned onto me that the timing has to be right. Let me share something with you all.

Before I met my wife, I had a lot of things to work on within myself. Although I wouldn't

show it to my friends and family, I had insecurities, I had emotional problems, I couldn't

stand being alone, and ultimately, I wasn't all too happy with myself.

Even though God brings other people into our lives to help us out, I knew there were certain things that 

I alone had to work on before God brought my soul mate into my life. I looked at my life

and realized there was a pattern to every relationship. I'd find someone, get too emotionally attached,

exclude others from my life, then the relationship would break up, I'd go through a long period of distrusting others,

and then it'd repeat all over again.

I realized that these patterns kept happening because I wasn't learning about the lesson God

was trying to teach me and help me understand. I didn't understand the things that would help me grow. 

Maybe if you reading this are in a position where that special person--or even broadly that something whether it's a job,

idea, project, business, etc--just hasn't come into your life just yet, maybe it could be that there are still patterns you are repeating. 

Maybe you still have a lesson to conquer before God lets that special person or thing in your life.
